[Twitter] After IU & Wooyoung’s conversation, Taecyeon asks fans not to send hate comments to Dream High cast
On September 28th, 2PM‘s Taecyeon asked fans not to send hate comments to the cast of Dream High.
On his personal Twitter, Taecyeon tweeted, "Yesterday, I met up with the main characters of Dream High after a long time. Each and every one of them are my friends and colleagues that made one drama. Please refrain from cursing at them and ripping them apart, I hope everyone has a great Chuseok. Thank you."
A few hours earlier, Taecyeon, Wooyoung and IU had been tweeting each other back and forth, snatching the attention of many fans. Taecyeon started things off by tweeting IU and saying, “IU-nim, you left us too early ??“, to which IU replied, “Kekeke no way… When I read what happened it seems you had more fun after I left~~”
Wooyoung joined in on the conversation by sending IU a mysterious smiley face, to which IU said, “What’s that smile supposed to mean.. keke” and Wooyoung once again replied mysteriously, “Oppa’s heart is at rest now.. ??“. To this, IU replied, “kekekeke Sigh it’s starting again.. I’m gonna go crazy really..” Wooyoung said, “But it was unfair of you to leave early ?“. IU then finally expressed her discomfort and said, “That’s why I left after everyone else got there.. Why are you tweeting me instead of using KakaoTalk.. My mentions are exploding ??“. The conversation ended with Wooyoung acquiescing to her request.
However, the cute conversation caused a few fans of Wooyoung to send a barrage of hate comments to IU’s Twitter. Taecyeon’s tweet tried to explain that IU’s relationship to him and Wooyoung was important and asked fans to stop sending the hurtful comments to IU.
Fans showed their support for IU, saying, “Why does IU have to be cursed out?“, “Her only crime is that she’s famous“, “She must be stressed out“, and “There’s really no problem, but some netizens like to make a big deal out of it“.

[News] 2PM’s Junho being considered for leading role in upcoming film ‘Stakeout’
Though Junho previously made a cameo in the movie ‘White: The Melody of the Curse‘, this will be his first true debut in the movie world if he does join the cast. Actors Sul Kyung Goo, Jung Woo Sung, and Han Hyo Joo have already been announced to be starring in the film.
A representative from the film’s staff commented, “Currently, Junho has risen to the top of the list to play one of the leading roles, and we’re currently [in discussion].”
‘Stakeout’ tells the story of a group of detectives from the surveillance team of a special crime unit who work together to take down a bank robbing organization. Filming will begin in October after the cast has been decided.

[News] [Chuseok special] What If Korean Idols Were to Get Married to Each Other?
Members of idol groups Beast, Infinite, Kara, Secret, 4minute, Sistar and Apink formed matrimonial alliances with each other transcending time and space during filming a Chusok (Full Moon festival) special in Buan, Cholla-bukdo province.
The Chusok special, titled “Revival of the Dynasty! The installation of the Crown Prince“, is a time-slip variety program in the style of Joseon Period and will be aired on Oct. 1.
Leeteuk, the premier of the Joseon dynasty who wanted to relieve the agony of the king, Lee Su-geun, came to the 21st century through a time warp and took seven idols back to the Joseon dynasty as candidates for crown prince.
The seven idols are Gi-kwang and Yo-seob of Beast, Taecyeon and Wooyoung of 2PM, Chang Min and Jinwoon of 2AM, and Woohyun of Infinite.
The idols who entered the Joseon period were greatly perplexed at the king’s absurd declaration of his intention to choose the crown prince through competitions and the fact that their wives were pre-nominated. Those wives are Ha-ra and Gyuri of Kara, Hyosung of Secret, Hyunah of 4minute, Bora and Soyou of Sistar and Eunji of Apink.
The matrimonial episodes of those idols predetermined by destiny during the Joseon period will be revealed in the program. Who are the wives that will stay alone after marriage? Who is the idol that will have the most babies according to the “saju” fortune teller? Who is the male idol that will fall in love with a woman other than his wife?
The members, out of fun, consulted the saju fortune teller who predicted their marital fortunes, but they were greatly perplexed at the result.
The idols showed hesitation at the first part of the couple games, but as the stage continued, they would not spare themselves to win the game.
Some members called each other “honey” and “darling” showing affection for their partners.
And “brave boys” transform themselves to “brave court ladies” and the eunuch of Gag Concert appears to support the king.
On the shooting site, the top-guest received the spotlight. ‘Brownie’ in sadness was trapped beside the king’s bench.
For what reason did Brownie, who has been beloved by the public in 2012, became a prisoner on a charge of high treason?
The idol couples’ efforts to capture the status of the Crown Prince will be aired at 6:10 p.m. on Oct. 1 on KBS 2TV.

[News] 2PM's ‘What time is It?’ Global Tour
On September 24th, 2PM’s official fan cafe announced: “Hello. This is JYPE. We’re announcing 2PM’s GLOBAL TOUR 2012 ‘What time is it?’.”

[News] Chuseok special ‘Miss and Mister Idol Korea’ to feature 16 idol groups
This Chuseok, MBC will be airing a new special, ‘Miss and Mister Idol Korea‘ on October 1st, featuring members of 8 girl groups including KARA, 4minute, SECRET, Orange Caramel, A Pink, and more, as well as members of 8 boy groups including 2PM, INFINITE, MBLAQ, ZE:A, and others.
The preliminary rounds will feature the idols in formal dresses and suits, and the idols themselves twill decide on who continues into the next round by voting themselves on the program. The girls dazzled in their beautiful dresses, and the boys impressed with their clean-cut suits, as all of the idols participated in dance performances and sweet “proposals” to capture each other’s hearts.
An interesting aspect of the show is that it features individual rounds and competition, as opposed to the usual group efforts. 2PM’s Taecyeon and MBLAQ’s G.O are said to have gone into a competitive “clothes-ripping battle” to see who could rip off the other’s clothes faster.
The girls also participated in a “no-rule” game of basketball, allowing them to use whatever fouls they could. ‘Reply 1997‘ star and A Pink member Eunji also battled it out with After School‘s Lizzy in satoori (dialect), as the two are both from Busan.

[News] 2PM’s Taecyeon filmed Reebok CF for 20 hours despite previous arm injury
2PM‘s Taecyeon, who is currently acting as the endorsement model for Reebok, recently filmed a CF for the brand’s Zigtech shoe line.
What’s catching people’s attention, besides Taecyeon’s usual beastly look, is the fact that he filmed the commercial for over 20 hours despite his previous arm injury. He surprised the staff members on the set of the filming with his unending energy, especially considering the idol now has a metal pin in his arm.
Even though he had a Japanese showcase on the day before the CF shooting, he attended the filming looking energized. During the 20 hours, Taecyeon performed every exercise he could, including jumping from a height of 2.5 meters (~8ft 2in), running, side stepping, and even lifting barbells.
Taecyeon himself narrates the line: “Zigtech, my energy, Reebok“. He commented, “It’s a sports brand I like, so I was able to incorporate the concept of Zigtech ZigLite’s energy and actively participate in the shooting. I think I was able to express Zigtech ZigLite’s powerful brand image well.”

[News] 2PM’s Taecyeon and students of Dankook University donate profits from their collaboration album
2PM‘s Taecyeon and students of Dankook University donated the profits from their collaboration album at the ‘Blue Bears with Taecyeon‘ scholarship donation event.
Earlier this year the singer donated his music abilities to a charity album created in collaboration with fellow students of Dankook University. And back in February, the album was released to the public.
The album, as previously reported, carries the song ‘Wings‘ self composed by the students of Dankook University and a remake of the 90's classic, “A Night Light This‘.
Taecyeon personally wrote lyrics for the rap portion of the two tracks while other students of the Music Department composed, choreographed, participated in singing, and helped with music video production for the songs.
Dankook University has decided to split the 10.4 million KRW ($9,300 USD) earned among 10 students in need of financial assistance, in hopes that the small scholarship will be of aid to their difficult financial situations.

[K-Pop Battle] 2PM’s Junho Beats MBLAQ’s Lee Joon
The votes have been tallied, and our readers have declared 2PM’s Junho to be the real Rain 2.0!
The battle began as a close competition between the two boy band members, but 2PM’s Junho wound up winning by a distinct margin, pulling in 60 percent of the 6,202 total votes cast last week, while Lee Joon trailed behind, garnering 40 percent of readers’ votes.

[News] KTO’s ‘Touch Korea Tour’ videos featuring 2PM, miss A, and Korea’s biggest fans goes public!
Idol groups 2PM and miss A who are at the forefront of the Hallyu Wave took off on a special trip with K-pop fans from all over the world to find hidden gems around the Korean peninsula.
As honorary ambassadors of KTO, 2PM and miss A participated in the ‘Touch Korea Tour ” hosted by KTO this past June. ‘Touch Korea Tour’ was KTO’s 2012 official global campaign which provided a special opportunity for K-pop fans to thoroughly experience Korea inside and out.
The few selected fans were separated into three different themed groups: ‘Fun Tour’, ‘Gourmet Tour’, and ‘Style Tour’. Each team was able to enjoy various tourist attractions according to the group’s theme during the memorable 6 nights and 7 days in Korea.
The ‘Fun Tour’ team consisted of 2PM’s Junsu, Wooyoung, and miss A’s Min along with 5 fans from France, the US, Australia, Indonesia and Malaysia. They enjoyed various activities such a water taxi ride along the Han River to enjoy Seoul’s waterscapes, and learning more about Korea’s traditional percussion quartet, Samulnori.
The ‘Fun Tour’ team was then divided into two groups as the ‘True Blue Team’ with 2PM’s Wooyoung and Junsu, and the ‘Red Power Team’ with miss A’s Min. Each team learned how to play the Kkwaenggwari, Janggu, Buk(Korean traditional drum), and Jing to perform a full Samulnori performance. Junsu, Wooyoung, and Min all attempted to play the Janggu and made numerous mistakes while practicing, but the overall performance was absolutely successful.
2PM’s Junho and Chansung along with miss A’s Suzy participated in the ‘Gourmet Tour’ along with 5 fans from Japan, Singapore and the US. They were divided into three groups and each of them made their favorite Korean dishes. Each team played a game called “ladder shuffle” to choose which kind of dish they would make. The teams chose between ‘Royal Tteokbokki’, ‘Japchae’, ‘Haemulpajeon”, and soon made their way to the supermarket to prepare the ingredients for their dishes.
Although Suzy’s team had a difficult time keeping the Korean rice cakes from becoming one huge lump while preparing the Royal Tteokbokki, they displayed their culinary skills and in the end created a delicious dish. Suzy gave cooking tips to her team, and spoon-fed her members when enjoying the final product.
Junho’s team showed great teamwork by designating certain roles and also made sure to carefully watch their time while boiling their noodles to make their dish, Japchae.
Chansung’s team accidentally dropped their dish Haemulpajeon on their first attempt, but received an ovation after successfully creating a great dish in the end.
2PM’s Taecyeon along with miss A’s Fei & Jia participated in the ‘Style Tour’, along with 5 fans from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as their team leader, ZaiZai. They enjoyed touring the trendy streets of Chungdam-dong and Garosu-gil street, as well as Korea’s famous department stores and fashion boutiques, where they tried on various Hallyu styles of fashion. Taecyeon, Fei, and Jia gave fashion advice to the fans and they enjoyed a full-fledged fashion photo shoot. Their team also enjoyed Korea’s signature summer dish Samgyetang, and the fans enjoyed their time with Taecyeon, Fei and Jia at the hottest cafés located in the trendy routes of Galosu Street.
All of the ‘Touch Korea Tour’ video episodes will be released starting September 21st [KST] on www.ibuzzkorea.com/touchkoreatour/eng/tour_fun.html. All of the episodes will be uploaded by October 5th [KST], and internet users will be able to place votes for their favorite teams until October 15th [KST]. The poll results will be posted on KTO’s interactive site on October 22nd [KST], and the team with the most votes will be invited back to Korea for the last week of October to spend more time with 2PM and miss A during the awards and win 25,000,000 KRW.
