[News] Thai Prime Minister Names Her Favorite K-Pop Star and TV Drama
The Prime Minister of Thailand, Yingluck Shinawatra, picked her favorite K-Pop star and TV dramas, reflecting the growing presence of Hallyu content in the Southeast Asian country. She sat for an interview with TV Chosun's "Choi/Park's Current Affairs Talk Board," and talked about Korea and Thailand's economic/cultural relationships, her political ideas, and passion for K-Pop.
"The Korean dramas I've seen so far are ‘Full House' and ‘Dae Jang Geum.' Among Korean celebrities, I like Rain and 2PM," she said. In particular, she expressed her love for 2PM's Nichkhun, who comes from Thailand as well.
Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra is currently in Korea for the "2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit." She also had the chance to meet Nichkhun during a tea time ceremony with special guests on March 26. The interview with TV Chosun took place on March 24 and will air on March 26.

Shinhwa proved their popularity among other stars as more than a dozen idol singers and top musicians showed up at their comeback concert. On March 24 and 25, K-Pop's longest-running idol group held the "2012 Shinhwa Grand Tour in Seoul 'The Return,'" marking their return in nearly four years.
During the two-day concert, some of the top K-Pop artists came to see the six-member group. The guest list included DBSK's Changmin, Girls' Generation's Sooyoung and Hyoyeon, 2PM's Taecyeon and Junho, Wonder Girls' Yoobin, ex-Baby V.O.X members Shim Eun Jin and Kan Mi Yeon, as well as actress Jung Ryeo Won. Also, veteran signers Insooni and Park Sang Min came to see the show with their daughters.
Insooni tweeted, "I just saw Shinhwa's concert with my daughter and her friends. The phrase, 'A fish finds water,' is supposed to be used for this. I was really impressed by the way they looked so happy and free on the stage. You guys must be on the stage! Welcome back, I'm rooting for you guys."
2PM's Taecyeon also wrote on his twitter, "Shinhwa hyung's concert was really fun. I was jealous about their unified color with the fans. I want to have 2PM's concert."
Netizens who came across the photos commented, "Shinhwa's legendary," "When's the encore concert?" and "This is what you call the return of the kings."

[Twitter] 2PM’s Chansung inspired by Shinhwa
2PMHs maknae Chansung has recently expressed his wish for 2PM to become a long-running group like idols Shinhwa.
On March 26th, Chansung uploaded a lengthy post on his Twitter after attending Shinhwa's comeback concert. "Shinhwa members, thank you for a wonderful concert. I deeply admire your 14 years of friendship. I suppose there will come a day when our 2PM members will long to put on a comeback concert after we come back from the military. Thank you, Minwoo hyung! Thanks also to Junjin hyung!"
He continued, "On the day we all come back from military duty, I wish we can all be together".
Fans who saw the Twitter post uploaded encouraging messages such as, "I hope you guys can become the 2nd Shinhwa" , "Forever 2PM", and, "Shinhwa has become the legend of idols".
In related news, Shinhwa successfully completed their long-awaited comeback concert this past 24th and the 25th.

[News] 2PM & 2AM spotted filming their new variety show
The members of 2PM and 2AM have been spotted walking together on the streets of Tokyo.
The above photos recently surfaced on an online community site with the title, 'Still shots from '2PM Wander Trip'!!'
Both the members of 2AM & 2PM were seen dressed casually in the photos, enjoying local street food together.
The photos were taken while filming their new program '2PM & 2AM Wander Trip', which has been scheduled to broadcast through TOKYO MX starting on April 3rd.
'2PM & 2AM Wander Trip' is a new variety show, where the boys will be traveling through the streets of Tokyo with show guests, discovering new charms of the city.
Netizens who found the photos remarked, "Taecyeon is becoming so masculine," as well as "Cool, it's like they get to go on vacation together," and "Hallyu idols on a Japanese program!"
