2PM and 2AM, known to be brother groups in Japan, are hosting a variety show together. Starting April 3rd, Tokyo MX will air "2PM & 2AM Wander Trip." In the show, the members of the two groups will travel with show guests around the streets of Tokyo, discovering the hidden charms of the city.

This is the first time that the "beastly-dol" 2PM and sentimental ballad group 2AM will be appearing together in a variety show in Japan. A representative from the groups’ agency has commented, "Fans in Japan are waiting with a heightening anticipation to see the honest and natural interactions of the boys."

Both groups have shared that, "Through this show, we hope to show many new sides of us. We are really enjoying filming the program and we hope that all the viewers will enjoy the show as well."

[News] 2PM's Junho is a well-mannered gentleman with Kim So Eun

2PM's Junho showed that under his 'beasty idol' image, he was a true gentleman.

On the March 24th episode of MBC MUSIC's 'Music and Lyrics', Junho drew viewers' attention, proving to be quite the gentleman with Kim So Eun.

The two were extremely bashful from the moment they met, but the way Junho thoughtfully looked after So Eun throughout their date became a hot topic amongst viewers.

When walking together, Junho paid special attention to So Eun and led her with his hand behind her, while also always remembering to open the door for her, and covering her with his umbrella when it began to rain.

During the company dinner, the staff members pressured the two into taking a 'love shot'. But seeing So Eun's full glass of beer, Junho remarked that it may be too much for her to drink, and quickly switched her glass with his own.

His thoughtfulness and considerate manners towards So Eun not only melted So Eun's heart, but tugged at the heartstrings of his nuna fans everywhere.

His fans, who were blown away by his mindful behavior, wrote online, "King of manners, Junho! His gentleman-like demeanor is stirring my heart", "He knows how to treat a lady!", "Where can I find a boyfriend like him?", "Jealous of So Eun", and more.

[News] Shinhwa and 2PM gain interest for having many similarities

Original idol group Shinhwa and 2PM are gaining interest from fans for their similarities.

On the March 26th broadcast of Mnet's 'Wide Entertainment News,' it was revealed that there were many parallels between sunbae (senior) group Shinhwa and hoobae (junior) group 2PM.

The first point of parallel between Shinhwa and 2PM that the show uncovered was titled the "3 2 1 law," and it involved the birth years of the members of each group.

In Shinhwa, 3 of the members (Eric, Hye Sung, and Dong Wan) were born in 1979, 2 of the members (Minwoo and Jun Jin) in 1980 (Although Minwoo was technically born in 1979, due to an error on his birth certificate, his birth year is legally listed as 1980), and 1 member (Andy) in 1981. 2PM has similar groupings according to birth years, as 3 of the members were born in 1988 (Nichkhun, Junsu, and Taecyeon), 2 members (Junho and Chansung) in 1990, and Wooyoung by himself in 1989.

Also, Shinhwa debuted in 1998, and 2PM debuted exactly 10 years after them in 2008. Although there was a decade difference between their debuts, the two groups have followed the same path in their careers.

Another point of similarity is the number of members from overseas in each group. 2PM has 2 members from overseas (Nichkhun and Taecyeon), as does Shinhwa (Eric and Andy).  Also, viewers were surprised when it was revealed that the maknaes of each group (Andy from Shinhwa, and Chansung from 2PM) were also maknaes in their families as well.

The netizens who found out about the parallels between Shinhwa and 2PM left surprised reactions, such as, "It's amazing how the two groups have similarities that match up numerically," and "There was a reason why I thought Shinhwa and 2PM were similar."

Other points of similarities between Shinhwa and 2PM that drew the interest of fans and netizens were their acrobatics, their "beastly idol" concept, and their connections with actress Kim Tae Hee.

[News] 2PM to meet fans at '2PM's The Hottest Party'

2PM will be meeting their fans at their official fan meeting '2PM's The Hottest Party'.

A representative from JYP Entertainment stated, "On April 1st, 2PM will be hosting a fan meeting for their official fan club HOTTEST."

All six members of 2PM have all been receiving lots of love for their individual talents, charismatic performances on stage, and for their humorous personalities that they have displayed through talk and variety shows. They further proved to be one of Asia's best performing idol group as they have recently concluded their sold-out Asian tour.

'2PM's The Hottest Party' is a fan meeting prepared for the third recruitment of their fan club HOTTEST.  The group is planning to present special stages that the fans want, making this an event where they will become one with their fans.

JYP Entertainment's representative stated, "All the members are currently practicing for this fan meeting. There will be a variety of acts and it will be the best fan meeting that will be filled with surprises and laughs. We hope for the fans' anticipation and support."

2PM's fan meeting will be held on April 1st starting at 4 p.m. KST at Kyung Hee University's Hall of Peace.
