[News] KTO Hosts ’2012 buzz KOREA Awards’ with 2PM and miss A

Fans of K-Pop should make sure to check out the ‘2012 buzz KOREA Awards‘, hosted by Korea Tourism Organization, for 2PM and miss A will be making a guest appearance at the event to perform and spend some quality time with members of ibuzzkorea.com.

2PM and miss A are honorary ambassadors of the Korea Tourism Organization and thus have been invited to the event, which rewards active members of the ibuzzkorea community for outstanding content.

Those that attended the Touch Korea Tour will also be able to enter for a chance of becoming the winning team and earn rewards during the event. [News] 2PM’s Junsu and Chansung Come to ‘One Hundred Million Won Quiz Show’

They’ve got the singing and dancing chops but do they have the brains to match?

2PM’s Junsu and Chansung will be appearing in the October 5 episode of SBS’ One Hundred Million Won Quiz Show as they face off together against actors Byun Woo Min and Kang Min Kyung.

Engaging in a battle of trivia, Junsu and Chansung will seek to prove they’ve got the smarts to go with their looks and music skills and to aim for the one hundred million won.

In the previous week, Jang Yoon Jung and Tae Jin Ah teamed up to earn 6.1 million won, raising the bar for this week’s episode.

[News] 2PM and miss A Headline “2012 Buzz Korea Awards” – Vote for the Winners and Win Special Prizes!

2PM and miss A will perform at the “2012 Buzz Korea Awards,” a special event designed to reward the most active members of the Korea Tourism Organization’s (KTO) website, ibuzzkorea (www.ibuzzkorea.com).

The event, scheduled for October 30, will be comprised of an awards ceremony, where the top contestant from this past June’s Touch Korea Tour event will be awarded, and performance stages by KTO’s official honorary ambassadors, 2PM and miss A.

In order to determine the top contestant, KTO will run an online poll from October 5 to 15. You can vote for the actual winner by visiting their website here, and those who voted for the winning team will also earn a chance to win various prizes!

[News] JYP Entertainment Releases Official Statement on 2PM Nichkhun’s Participation in KOICA

With 2PM’s Nichkhun making a return after his DUI incident , his agency, JYP Entertainment released an official statement explaining his comeback.

On October 5, Nichkhun will be leaving for Tanzania to take part in MBC’s KOICA’s Dream where he will be volunteering to help the country’s residents. This will mark his return after going on hiatus in July.

Considering that the public might not be so forgiving with only three months’ worth of self-reflection, JYP Entertainment released a statement, explaining Nichkhun’s comeback.

The company apologized for Nichkhun’s DUI incident once more and explained that he has been going through a period of self-reflection.

“He knew that it wasn’t a sufficient amount of self-reflection time, but [Nichkhun] related greatly with the program’s objective and thought it would be a good opportunity to extend his current volunteer work to greater things. So after much contemplation, he decided to join the team.”

Nichkhun was already scheduled to take part in the project and joined to prevent any more inconveniences to other parties.

“Nichkhun will promise to do his best to show a good image to his fans and the public. We hope you’ll show generosity to him.”

Nichkhun will be joined by Taecyeon, actors Lee Tae Ran, Park Sun Woong, and Kim Hyuk, They will leave for Tanzania with their team on October 5 and arrive back in Korea on October 21.
