[News] 2PM Japan Single 'Masquerade' to Release in November


Idol group 2PM has announced that their 5th Japan single, Masquerade, will be released on November 14.

This new single started taking reservations on October 15 and received an overwhelming response. They took over 1-3 place on the Tower Records Online chart as well.

Famous Japan producers NA.ZU.NA and M.I produced 2PM's new album. The songs in this single feature a dance song with sweet melodies that fit 2PM's vocals.

They plan on wearing masks on stage for a different type of performance.

Member Junho's song, "Forever" will also be included in this single.

2PM will begin their Japan arena tour in January of 2013. They also plan to perform at a location that can seat up to 15,000 fans.

[News] 2PM, MBLAQ, 4Minute and More to Come to tvN’s Idol Dating Show


A number of idol stars will be going on dates with each other through a new tvN variety show.

tvN’s new updated version of its dating show, The Romantic has changed its format to become The Romantic & Idol, featuring a number of idol stars.

A total of eight idol stars will appear on the dating show including 2PM’s Junsu, MBLAQ’s Mir, ZE:A’s Hyung Sik, JJ Project’s JB, 4Minute’s Nam Ji Hyun, Rainbow’s Seung Ah, Fiestar’s Jae and AOA’s Hyejeong.

The eight already finished recording on Jeju Island recently where they held a number of activities from going on quiet café dates to going to the market and cooking and more.

A source from the show’s production shared, “The cast members were able to show their selves behind the stage as young individuals in their 20s."

The show will premiere on tvN beginning on November 11.

[News] Nichkhun to join 2PM for ‘Live Tour in Shanghai – What time is it’ concert


Hottests should celebrate as it’s been revealed that Nichkhun will be joining the rest of 2PM for their upcoming ‘What time is it?‘ concert in Shanghai.

Nichkhun recently ended his hiatus from the entertainment industry on MBC‘s volunteer program ‘KOICA’s Dream‘, and he’ll be joining his fellow 2PM members for ‘Live Tour in Shanghai – What time is it‘ on November 17 at the Shanghai Mercedes Benz Arena Center.

It was previously reported that Nichkhun’s participation in 2PM’s global tour would be under the discretion of local event organizers and their associated contracts.

Hopefully, 2PM fans will see him throughout the entire tour.

On October 18th, a netizen shared several adorable photos of well-known baby Mason Moon on an online community board under title, “Latest Pictures of Mason Moon: How Can He Look Better As He Grows?”

The uploaded photos of Mason a.k.a ‘baby Nichkhun‘ has been gaining a lot of interest. The photos showed him outdoor enjoying the beautiful weather and the sun.

Upon seeing these cute and lovely pictures, many netizens commented that Mason will soon walk in Nichkhun’s footsteps and bare a toned body with a cute face.

[News] 2PM’s Junsu to be referred as Jun.K instead of Min-Jun


JYP Entertainment officially announced that 2PM‘s Junsu will be referred by his solo stage name Jun.K from now on.

On October 16th, 2PM‘s Junsu announced via his Twitter that he will be changing his name.

He tweeted the following tweets,

BECAUSE OF A FAMILY MATTER, IT WAS DECIDED TO CHANGE MY NAME.

OFFICIAL STAGE NAME WILL BE “JUN. K” AS IT WAS BEFORE BUT THE REAL NAME HAS CHANGED TO “MIN-JUN”. JUNSU WILL NO LONGER BE USED IN THE FUTURE

JYP Entertainment finally answered the question on the 19th, saying, “2PM member Kim Junsu has changed his name to ‘Kim Min-jun’. His name has been changed because of family matters. So he will not be using the name ‘Kim Junsu’ anymore. His official stage name will be ‘Jun.K’, the name he used for his solo activities and while he was composing. Kim Min-jun will not be used on the stage.

[News] 15&’s Baek Ye Rin Has Been A Trainee For As Long As 2PM


Baek Ye Rin of rookie girl group 15& recently revealed that she had been in JYP for just as long as some of the members of 2PM.

On October 17th, the members of 15&, Baek Ye Rin and Park Ji Min made an appearance for a special interview on YTN’s “News 12 – Issues and People”. When asked how she became a JYP trainee, Ye Rin told the story of her “Star King” appearance in 2006 when she was just an elementary school student.

When Ye Rin decided to try again, she ended up trying out for JYP’s auditions; which she was very successful in. However, she lost out to 2PM’s Woo Young at the time and placed second in the ranks.

Though she ended up as a trainee, she mentioned how difficult it was to travel back and forth between Seoul and her hometown of Dae Jeon. Her father attended this trip with her on the weekends until the sixth grade, where Ye Rin began to go herself.

Lastly, she was asked if she had been disappointed at the fact that others debuted before her. She said she wasn’t disappointed at all and in fact, she “knew [her] debut would be far off. [She] just ran hard and did [her] best
