[News] 2PM Junho to Make Movie Debut Opposite Jung Woo Sung, Han Hyo Joo in ‘Stakeout’

2PM’s Junho is set to make his big screen debut.

The producers behind the upcoming movie, Stakeout, confirmed they have completed casting with star veteran actors and actress such as Seol Kyung Goo, Jung Woo Sung, Han Hyo Joo, and Jin Kyung.

The mystery crime thriller revolves around police who must pursue and capture a mysterious criminal in a battle of speed and wit.

Sul Kyung Gu stars as the surveillance expert investigator, Hwang Ban Jang who is on the trail of the crime gang leader, James (Jung Woo Sung). Han Hyo Joo will play rookie investigator Ha Yoon Joo while 2PM’s Junho will play a supporting role in the movie.

The movie begins filming in October.

2AM’s Jo Kwon asked 2PM’s Taec Yeon to be his personal tutor.

Previously on October 24, Taec Yeon uploaded a picture on his Twitter with the caption, “I took TOEIC test last time, and here is the result. 990 out of 990, not 10 out of 10.”

After seeing this tweet, Jo Kwon left a mention saying, “Wow, you’re amazing bro. Our university requires us to take TOEIC in our senior year. I should get some private lessons.” 2PM’s Im Seul Ong also commented, “It’s like a Korean taking a Korean test. But still, you are awesome.”

After seeing their conversation, netizens commented: “Will Jo Kwon get a perfect score after getting private lessons from Taec Yeon?” “I want to learn from you teacher Taec Yeon!” “Jo Kwon seems to be impressed at Taec Yeon’s TOEIC score.”

[News] BEG Gain was supposed to marry Boom or 2PM Nichkhun?

“At first, I worried a lot about appearing on We Got Married,” said Gain. “My first partner wasn’t Jo Kwon. I was told it would be either 2PM’s Nichkhun or Boom, so I had to think hard about it.”

The studio laughed at the completely different choices, as Boom chirped, “I did get an offer to be on We Got Married.” Gain added that her mother really liked Boom and thought he would make the marriage funny.

But on a side note, she said that getting ‘married’ to Jo Kwon was quite stressful.

“Older people started knowing me a lot more after We Got Married but they thought that I was really married to Jo Kwon,” said Gain. “Because of this image, I worry for when I actually do get married or date a boyfriend.”

[News] 2PM’s ‘Masquerade’ Chosen as the Opening Theme Song of Japanese Music Program

2PM’s fifth single, Masquerade has been chosen as the opening theme song for Nihon TV’s music program, Happy Music.

Masquerade took the top three spots on Tower Record’s preorder chart, ever since preorders began on October 15.

For a total of eight days from October 15 to October 23, Masquerade ranked in first, second, and third place, demonstrating 2PM’s popularity in Japan. Due to the high demand, Japan’s Sony Music is in production to increase the number of singles.

The new single has been raising anticipation, even ranking in number one on the mobile ringtone chart Recochoku.

Masquerade was created by famous producer, NA.ZU.NA and M.I, who have worked with Japan’s Arashi, SMAP, Koda Kumi, and more. The song is a about a heartbreaking story of a couple in love.

In the revealed Masquerade jacket photo, the 2PM members are shown more masculine than ever. It’s said that the group will have special masks and costumes for the performances

Meanwhile, 2PM will be on its Asia tour concerts until the end of this year and are preparing for its Japanese arena tour concerts in 2013.
