[News] 2PM To Perform in Manila This March
Known for their smashing hits and acrobatic dance moves, 2PM members Ok Taecyeon, Jang Wooyoung, Jun.K, Hwang Chanseong, Lee Junho and Nichkhun will perform their hit singles such as Hands Up, Heart Beat, Again and Again and Crazy Over You for its Filipino fans in this one-night-only concert.
The award-winning group has performed in sold-out venues for their thousands of fans in South Korea, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Macau, Taiwan, Thailand; and this year, Manila has been chosen as the very first stop to launch the 2013 2PM LIVE TOUR “What time is it” world series. After the Philippines, 2PM will continue to visit the rest of their Asian fans with a concert at the Guangzhou Gymnasium in Guangzhou, China on March 30 and at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on April 8.
“In the past years, 2PM has conquered the whole of Asia and the world and we are excited to bring them to the Philippines for the first time to give thousands of their Filipino fans the chance to witness their outstanding performances live,” shares Nian Rigor, Head of IMC of Hoopla Inc, the local co-promoter of this one-night-only concert.
2PM is under the management of JYP Entertainment who also handles the Kpop girl group sensation Wonder Girls. The South Korean boy band has been awarded by Oricon music chart for their 2PM Live 2012 Six Beautiful Days as one of the best concerts in Japan last year. Thay have also won the New Artist of the Year and Best New Artist in Asia at the 26th Japan Gold Disc Award, and got the Best Group Video award at the MTV Video Music Award in Japan last year.

[News] 2PM tops daily chart in Japan
2PM is off to a stellar start to 2013 in Japan.
Although the group’s upcoming album “Legend of 2PM” hasn’t even hit stores, a ringtone version of album single “This is Love” topped Japan’s leading mobile phone ringtone service, Chaku-uta, on Feb.4.
The song was composed by band member Junho himself.
Japanese music chart keeper Oricon also praised the group, saying that the upcoming release is currently one of the most anticipated albums.
The Korean boy band is set to perform in Tokyo from Feb. 13- 20 and then in Sapporo from Feb. 23-24.
In April, the group will take on the Tokyo Dome, expected to draw in around 110,000 fans.

[News] ’7th Grade Civil Servant’ starring Joo Won and 2PM’s Changsung rising in ratings
‘7th Grade Civil Servant‘, starring Joo Won and 2PM‘s Chansung, has risen even higher in viewer ratings.
The drama has been steady at #1 despite just starting. Both Joo Won and Chansung have been praised highly for their acting, and Choi Kang Hee has also received loved for her cute character. The show ranked #1 in its time slot once again with 16.0%, a record for the drama and higher than last week’s episode.
Its competition ‘Jeon Woo Chi‘ and ‘The Great Seer‘ ranked at 12.8% and 9.5%, respectively. Although ’7th Grade Civil Servant’ is enjoying its ‘Joo Won effect’, there is no telling if it can keep its incredible ratings. With both ‘Jeon Woo Chi’ and ‘The Great Seer’ ending tomorrow on the 7th, highly anticipated dramas ‘Iris 2‘ and ‘Wind Blows in Winter‘ (‘That Winter, The Wind Blows) will take their place on February 13th.

[News] 2PM to host ‘Korean Courses Through TV’ on Japan’s NHK channel for 2nd consecutive year
2PM has been selected to host Japanese TV channel NHK‘s educational program ‘Korean Courses Through TV‘ for the second year!
NHK revealed through an official press conference on the 7th that 2PM will continue to be the faces of ‘Korean Courses Through TV’ for 2013. 2PM first appeared on the show last April and hosted their own special segment called ‘2PM’s One Point Korean‘, in which they personally taught phrases that are frequently used when traveling in Korea.
The group shared, “We are extremely happy to teach Japanese viewers the Korean language through ‘Korean Courses Through TV’ last year and this year. We will work harder to prepare a more fulfilling program. We thank you for your great love.”
2PM will also continue their Japanese promotional activities and will make a guest appearance on ‘Osama No Brunch‘ on the 9th as well as perform “Masquerade” on NHK’s ‘Music Japan‘ on the 10th.
