[News] 2PM′s ′Legend of 2PM′ Tops Oricon Chart

On February 14, 2PM’s new album Legend of 2PM topped the Oricon daily album chart immediately after its release.

Legend of 2PM’s sales numbers reached 29,454 on the first day of its release.

Junho tweeted “Four of the songs that I personally wrote are included in this album. I hope you’ll love it. I’m so happy”, expressing his excitement and anticipation for their newly released album.

With plans to make a comeback in Korea sometime this year, 2PM is currently touring in Japan.

2PM kicked off their tour for 2013 Arena Tour LEGEND OF 2PM in Fukuoka on January 11-12. 2PM will perform a total of 13 concerts in 6 different arenas over the course of two months, meeting 150,000 fans in Japan.

2PM will hold a concert in Tokyo Dome as well on April 20 and 21.

[Twitter] Joo Won and 2PM’s Chansung Model Their Blanket Skirts On The ‘7th Grade Civil Servant’ Set

Joo Won and 2PM’s Chansung are making quite the fashion statement on the set of MBC’s “7th Grade Civil Servant“…blanket skirts!

The two looked like they were quite cold on the set, so they kept their legs warm by wrapping blankets around the waist. Joo Won went for a layered look with two blankets, where as Chansung went for a stylish blue heart blanket to match his blue coat.

Upon seeing the photos posted by a staff member on twitter, Joo Won commented, “It’s too cold outside” and Chansung tweeted “Oh my gosh. You worked hard during filming today.”

[News] 2PM’s ‘Legend of 2PM’ ranks #1 on the Oricon Charts

2PM‘s 2nd Japanese album, ‘Legend of 2PM‘ has ranked #1 on the Oricon Charts!

The album ranked #1 on the Album Daily Chart by moving 29,454 units. It contains 13 tracks in all with 9 brand new songs and 4 of their previously released singles including “Masquerade“, “Beautiful“, “If You are Here“, and “Forever“.

2PM had a very successful 2012 in Japan, setting a new record at Tower Records for singles sales and winning the Grand Prize for Tower Records Japan’s ‘K-POP LOVERS! AWARDS 2012'. 2PM will also hold their own concert at the famous Tokyo Dome for two days on April 20th and 21st.

[News] 2PM celebrate Chansung’s birthday at their Budokan concert

2PM celebrated Chansung‘s 23rd birthday (Korean age: 24) and their recent #1 ranking on the Oricon Charts with 10,000 fans at their Budokan concert in Japan on the 13th.

Fans held a surprise event for Chansung with their fan lights and messages to celebrate his birthday. Chansung, who is currently busy with his filming schedule for MBC‘s ‘7th Grade Civil Servant‘, thanked them for their touching support.

Fans were also able to share the excitement of 2PM’s success on Oricon. Taecyeon, who was the first to hear the news, surprised the other members on stage, and they all couldn’t contain their joy.

2PM is currently on their ‘2PM ARENA TOUR 2013 LEGEND OF 2PM‘. The boys will also be holding a Tokyo Dome concert on April 20th-21st.
