[News] 2PM Takes Over the Oricon, HMV and Tower Records in Japan
Following a success on the Oricon Daily Chart, 2PM went on to take over more weekly charts with its new album.
After the release of its second studio album Legend of 2PM on February 13, the group managed to top the weekly charts on the Oricon, Tower Records and HMV.
The feat is all the more noticeable as it comes less than a week since the album was released.
The members of 2PM commented through JYP Entertainment, "We're very happy to hear that [our album has] topped the Oricon Weekly Chart and HMV and Tower Records' weekly charts. We also want to thank those who have shown their support for us. We'll be a 2PM that works hard with the support given us."
2PM has been touring Japan with its arena tour, which has managed to gather a 150,000 audience. In April it will hold a concert in the Tokyo Dome.

[News] 2PM Dominates Japanese Music Charts
2PM topped all major music charts in Japan, including Oricon Weekly chart, Tower Records chart, and HMV Weekly chart. 2PM released their second regular album “Legend of 2PM” in Japan on February 13. Immediately after the album was released, “Legend of 2PM” topped the online charts of Oricon, HMV, and Tower Records.
On February 18, 2PM appeared at the first place of the weekly charts of Oricon, HMV, and Tower Records. Music industry officials were highly impressed that 2PM was able to accomplish this within the first week of the release of “Legend of 2PM.” Especially on the Oricon charts, 2PM took the lead with a great difference between themselves and the second place.
2PM thanked their fans, “We are very surprised and happy to have topped Oricon, HMV, and Tower Records weekly charts. Thank you so much for all your love and support. We will always try our best to reciprocate the love and support.”
Meanwhile, 2PM will be continuing their arena tour until February, gathering nearly 150,000 fans in the audience. They are also scheduled to host a large scaled concert, attracting 110,000 fans, at the Tokyo Dom in April.

2PM to Release Limited Edition Figure Set on February 20
Idol group 2PM released their, ’2PM Figure Set Limited Edition’ today.
These 6 inch figurines that look exactly like the 2PM members were created with the main theme of masculinity and charisma. Each of the members unique personalities and face were created on the figurines as well.
These figurines took 2 years to complete and each of the members also took a 3D scan in order to create an almost exact replica.
An official commented, “These figurines were made in a dark gray and silver pearl color in order to enhance and create a charismatic and masculine feel.”
