[News] 2PM Nichkhun’s movie ‘Ouran High School Host Club’ to be released on White Day


Remember in 2011 when Nichkhun was cast in the film adaptation of the popular drama, ‘Ouran High School Host Club‘?

Well, the Japanese version of the movie was released last year in March, but the movie will finally be released in Korea on March 14th – White Day! Nichkhun plays the older brother of Michelle, an international student played by AKB48’s Shinoda Mariko. His character is the president of Singapore’s leading corporation, and he wears a a business suit for the entire film, giving 2PM fans some suit eye candy.

Nichkhun speaks in both Japanese and English in the movie, and he’s the first 2PM member to star in a Japanese film as well. The movie is very fittingly going to be released on White Day, so single Hottests can spend some time with Nichkhun if they get a little lonely.

[Twitter] 2PM Nichkhun & Taecyeon express their condolence to Sung In Gyu’s death


2PM’s Nickhun expressed his condolence to Sung In Gyu’s death.

On February 22, Nickhun posted on his Twitter, “Condolences to the family of our friend In Gyu. Rest in peace.

In the same day, Ok Taec Yeon also tweeted, “My friend In Gyu, I can’t believe you left like this. Rest in peace.

Sung In Gyu suffered from the rare disease thymus cancer since March of 2011 and have received treatments since then. However, he left the earth on February 22. This news was spread from Park Jung Jin who previously performed with him as A’st1. Park tweeted, “A former member of A’st1 and my friend In Gyu went to heaven. It must’ve been very tough to receive the treatments but he always greeted me with a lively voice.”

Previously in 2011, Sung In Gyu uploaded on his homepage, “I am starting to have a heartache. I went to the hospital and had a CT and found a rumor. This is a malignant tumor. I have been diagnosed with the rare disease thymus cancer".

The funeral parlor is in the second floor room 23 of Seoul Asan Hospital’s funeral hall and the coffin will be borne out on February 24.

[Entertainment][Spoilers] 2PM’s Chansung chases down criminals on ’7th Grade Civil Servant’


2PM‘s Chansung put his muscular figure to good use by kicking some butt on the February 22nd broadcast of MBC‘s ‘7th Grade Civil Servant‘. The idol-turned-actor, who has been receiving nothing but compliments on his expressive acting and amazing body, impressed viewers once again with his action scenes.

On the latest episode, Chansung, who plays elite agent Gong Do Ha, turned a typical scene involving chasing down criminals into something magnificent. Gong Do Ha gave the suspects what they deserve by sliding towards them to stop them in their tracks and finishing them off with a high kick. They hit the floor before agent Gong Do Ha made the arrest.

Viewers commented, “The suspects must have been really scared”, “Look at Chansung’s charisma and eyes while arresting the criminals”, “The criminals must have felt pain”, and more.

[News] 2PM celebrate their triple crown with Hottests at ‘Arena Tour’


Look at all those HOTTESTs!

Following the news of their domination on Japanese music charts, 2PM made sure to celebrate their achievement with the 12,000 fans in attendance at their ‘Arena Tour‘ held in Yoyogi, Tokyo on the 19th.

The boys proved their status as the reigning ‘beastly idols’ by topping the Oricon, HMV, and Tower Records‘ weekly charts within just a week of the release of their 2nd Japanese album ‘Legend of 2PM‘.

2PM shared, “We wanted to share this joyful and thankful moment with our fans. We were happy to create a precious memory with our fans who continuously show their love and support for us. We won’t forget our thankful heart and will become a 2PM that works hard. Thank you.
