[News] 2PM Holds Successful Concert in Nichkhun′s Home Country Thailand
2PM took over Thailand with its performance for its Asia tour What Time Is It? held on April 8.
The group had left for Bangkok on April 6, and after being welcomed by a giant crowd of fans at the airport, went on to hold a press conference and high-five session the next day, April 7.
Before the 80 media outlets and 150 press members, 2PM talked brightly about its visit and its future plans. The members, including, of course, Thai member Nichkhun, especially prepared greetings in the Thai language to voice their thanks.
The high-five session held the same day gathered not only the 300 fans chosen to participate in the event, but also other fans clamoring to see the stars, filling the venue to the brim with crowds of people.
The concert held on April 8 filled the Bangkok Impact Arena with 10,000 passionate fans. 2PM sang Rak Ter, a local song popular in the country, to repay fans for their love.
Many high-level officials from popular album labels, as well as local stars, watched the concert as a part of the audience.
The members said, "Thailand is special to us, especially because it is the home country of our member Nichkhun. We're always thankful toward our fans for their great love and support, and our hearts feel so warm. We want to thank our Thai fans for helping us have such a great time."
2PM is planning to make a comeback in Korea in May.

[News] Music industry insiders reveal the list of confirmed and rumored May comebacks from idol groups
What do 2PM, B2ST, MBLAQ, 4minute, T-ara, SECRET, After School, and SISTAR, all have in common? They are all confirmed or rumored to make a comeback this May!
2PM is the first male idol group to announce their official comeback for this coming May as you all know by now. The ‘beastly idols’ successfully wrapped up their Asia tour in Thailand on the 8th and are currently gearing up for their comeback. They also have fans doing a little detective work with their mysterious trailers. This will be their first comeback in two years since their last ‘Hands Up‘ album which was released back in June 2011. During the past two years, the group has been overseas and dominating Japanese music charts with their hit Japanese album ‘LEGEND OF 2PM‘.
Following their promotions for ‘Midnight Sun‘, B2ST has been busy focusing on their individual activities for the time being. But according the music industry insiders, it is very likely that the boys will be making a comeback mid-May as they’re in the midst of album preparations. However, this comeback date might be pushed depending on Doojoon and others’ individual activities, and the final album preparation process.
MBLAQ previously heated up the charts with their single “This is War“ last year and have been focusing on their Japanese promotions ever since, as well as solo activities in dramas and variety shows. But apparently their new title track has already been selected and it’s just a matter of time before their return as they’re currently deciding on the specific comeback time period.
