We talked for a long time about our image and performance since we’re having a comeback after 2 years. We want to be more relaxed on stage this time. We’re going to be more mature and masculine for this album.”
The topic of publicly dating was also brought up and Junho said, “No matter if you’re an idol star or not, dating is based on a person’s own heart, so I think it’s good to take care of it yourself. To be honest, I don’t really know. It’s been a while since I dated. I think now, idol stars are able to reveal their relationships more freely now. But in my case, even if I get a girlfriend, I wouldn’t reveal it publicly.”

[News] 2PM chooses Shinhwa as their role model
2PM chose Shinhwa as their role model!
2PM is already one of the longer running idol groups, as they’re entering their 6th year in 2013. The boys had a press conference before their Tokyo Dome concert, and they talked about the past 5 years as 2PM. Taecyeon said, “People say that an idol group that lasts for more than 5 years is long lasting. I think that the Tokyo Dome is another start. This concert also allowed us to look back into our past. I want to call it a new start that tells us which direction to go.”
Jun.K added, “After our debut, we had good things, and not so good things. But when we had bad things, we were able to become closer. We come together now thinking of one another as family. It’s not like we never have conflicting opinions, so we set up a rule. If we don’t agree with someone’s opinions, then we get together to talk and solve it. We’ve been doing that.”
Wooyoung continued, “Our teamwork now is better than ever. If we have something we’re disappointed in, we try to fix it right away. We love Shinhwa sunbaenim, the long-running idol. They’re our role model. We’re going to do our best for a long time and fulfill our own dreams.”
Jun.K concluded, “There’s something I want to say. We were only able to promote in Japan like this because sunbaes such as BoA, TVXQ, and Rain paved the road for us. We want to thank them first.”
The Tokyo Dome concert on the 20th and 21st were the boys’ last overseas promotions before their comeback in mid-May.

[News] 2PM’s Taecyeon: “Tokyo Dome Concert Is a New Beginning for Us”
2PM’sTaecyeon described their Tokyo Dome concert as a “new start.”
From April 20-21, 2PM held their “Legend of 2PM” concert that housed an audience of 11,000. During the press conference for the concert, Taecyeon stated, “It has been 5 years since 2PM debuted. There is a saying that an idol star’s limit is 5 years. However, we think that Tokyo Dome will be another beginning for us.”
He continued, “This Tokyo Dome Concert covers our 5 years of being 2PM. The concert provides the time to look back at the five years of music and performances in one stage. We started as an idol but have the desire to want to grow as artists and musicians. The Tokyo Dome concert is a starting point that will show us how we need to go forward.”
Taecyeon then added, “We debuted with the goal of making the name 2PM known in South Korea. After a few years, our goal was to make individual member’s names known. Our goal was not, ‘Let us go somewhere bigger than this.’ Our goal was to give the chance for each member of 2PM to stand on the stage on his own. Also, our goal was that when 2PM gets together on stage, we would create great synergy.”
2PM will release their new album in May, 2013. Their comeback is imminent!

[News] [Concert Review] 2PM Performs at the Tokyo Dome in Tears
Even amidst the severe anti-Korea sentiments in Japan, 2PM managed to rise in popularity, ultimately landing itself on the dream stage of the Tokyo Dome.
Fans couldn't contain their tears and excitement during the four hours the members performed onstage, and the members also shed tears in thanks toward the fans who let them fulfill their dreams.
2PM's Legend of 2PM in Tokyo Dome took place in two separate concerts across two days from April 20-21. A total of 110,000 people attended the concerts to witness 2PM's achievement.
2PM first landed in Japan on December 8, 2010 through a series of showcases with 25,000 fans. In just two years, the group managed to make history.
Wooyoung said in the press conference held before the second day's concert, "I can't bring myself to believe it even while I'm performing. It feels like I'm in a dream," while the other members agreed.
The Tokyo Dome was filled to the brim with fans, putting on a spectacular sight to see.
The members took care to speak in Japanese and sang such hits as The Legend, Crazy for You, HOT, Without U, Don't Stop Can't Stop, I'll Be Okay, Beautiful, Missing U, Back 2 U, I'm Your Man, Heartbeat, I Hate You, Even When We're Apart, Take Off, Stay with Me, 10 Points Out of 10 Points, Hands Up, This is Love, Forever and more across three-and-a-half hours. For Beautiful, the members unleashed their sexy charms with a chair performance.
Each member then went on to put on his own show. Wooyoung sang the promotional single off of his solo album, Sexy Lady, while Nichkhun sang Let It Rain, Jun.K performed True Swag, Taecyeon showed off I Love U, U Love Me, Chansung sang Oh and Junho sang to Say Yes. Fans cheered for each member with different colors, holding up green for Taecyeon, pink for Jun.K, blue for Wooyoung, yellow for Junho, purple for Chansung and red for Nichkhun.
The members then said in thanks, "We've dreamed of singing at the Tokyo Dome since our debut in Japan. We can't take our eyes off of the 110,000 fans before us. We are so thankful and happy. We want to dedicate this honor to our Hottests (2PM's fan club), who always support 2PM. We'll run harder and do our best."
Nichkhun also voiced his own thanks in tears as he apologized for the drunk driving incident he was involved in last year.
This wasn't the only time fans showed their support for the group, as they were also zealous enough to welcome the group with open arms at the airport. Over 1,000 fans watched as 2PM set foot in Japan on April 19.
2PM will return to Korea on April 22. The group will then go on to prepare for its album to be released in Korea in May.
