[News] 2PM Chansung, feels regret to the handling of the ferry disaster “This society gets sick”

Chansung of group 2PM does not hide his frustrated feeling for the handling of the Jindo ferry Sewol disaster.

Chansung of 2PM also pointed out inefficient rescue operation of ours through his Twitter. He said. “Accident can happen, but how to deal with the accident is reflecting our society. We can now realize how our society is being operated through the disaster and the accident can happen to anyone. I feel like this society gets sick.”

He added, “I feel so sad. I really do not feel good after the accident. The disaster itself is tough but vicious actions after the accident makes me sadder. People who are hurting the families of the missing should receive the same pain as the families."

He also expressed his sympathy in April 16 saying, “Please there should be more survivors in the ferry disaster.”

The Jindo ferry accident happened around 9 am in April 16 near Jindo-gun, South Jeolla Province. Out of 476 passengers, the survivors are 174 and 46 people are died and 256 people remain unaccounted for as of this morning.

Amid the grief due to the ferry disaster in Korea, musicians are continuing to pray.

Korean singer, Sol Bi posted a comment on her Twitter in April 20 saying, “Saving lives mean saving Korean citizens and saving the citizens mean  keeping the country” and also uploaded Kim Seon Woo’s poet ‘Cannot find the name of the spring’ with somewhat disciplined tone. The poet expressed the lack of system in rescuing.

MBLAQ member Mir also posted a photo of praying and putting his hands together on his Twitter in April 19. His words on the picture “Wish them safe coming back” showed how he desperately wanted them to survive. Ga Hui also said, “Pray for Korea”.

[News] 2PM Taecyeon”People who make up stories are not even a human”

Taecyeon, who is a singer (2PM) and an actor is showing tragic feelings toward the Sewol passenger ship.

Taecyeon posted on his Twitter, “Whoever makes up stories and rumors are not even human”.

The government made their position clear that they would show strong confrontation toward people who made up rumors related to the bereaved of the passenger ship, Sewol. Netizens showed “sympathy” toward the post of Taecyeon’s Twitter.

Also Taecyeon showed his sympathy by re-twitting one netizen’s post on its Twitter which showed some help regarding the accident of the Saewol ship.

Meanwhile about 8:58 on April 16th, the passenger ship Sewol departing from Incheon and heading to Jeju sunk at 20km to the north of Byeongpung-do located in Jodo-myeon, Jindo-gun, South Jeolla Province. Out of 476 passengers, the survivors are 174 people and 58 people died as of 20th, April.
