[News] 2PM’s Nichkhun to Participate in Badminton Event for Multicultural Families

Nichkhun of male group 2PM will be showing his support for diversity by taking part in a badminton event for multicultural families.

On June 9, sports equipment brand Yonex Korea announced that the idol will participate in the 2014 Yonex Badminton Competition for Multicultural Families held at Goyang Sports Hall on June 14.

The event aims to raise the sense of pride among families with diverse cultural backgrounds. Nichkhun, who is currently the spokesmodel for Yonex Korea and their line of badminton equipment, will also hold a signing event for the contestants. As Nichkhun himself has been brought up in a multicultural environment, he must have willingly agreed to participate in the meaningful event.

In related news, 2PM recently pushed back their comeback due to the Sewol ferry tragedy, and the members are currently pursuing individual activities.

[News] “We Got Married” Couple 2PM Wooyoung and Park Se Young Release “Two Hands Clasped”

MBC’s “We Got Married” Season 4 couple Wooyoung and Park Se Young recently released a romantic duet!

According to the episode that aired on June 7, it was revealed that the 2PM member had composed the music and lyrics, while Park Se Young contributed to the lyrics as well.

The first verse is about Wooyoung and Park Se Young’s expectant wishes, and the second verse a conversation between the two about those wishes.

The love song “Two Hands Clasped” was born out of Wooyoung and Park Se Young’s love for music that was communicated since the first day they met.

In particular, Wooyoung’s good friend and senior Lel also participated in the production of the song.

[News] Indie Musician lel Releases “Fireflies’ Glow” with 2PM’s Wooyoung

Indie musician lel released a new single called “Fireflies’ Glow” featuring 2PM‘s Wooyoung.

The single is the fourth in lel’s monthly single project. This single is the first in the songwriter’s monthly singles to feature a different vocalist.

Wooyoung beautifully carries out the sentimental pop ballad with his voice, drastically different from his usual dance-heavy 2PM and solo projects. Unlike the typical ballads, the lyrics of “Fireflies’ Glow” are about remaining hopeful in times of challenges and hardships. lel and Wooyoung discussed to lengths before the recording, and through this single, they tried to portray a different side from Wooyoung’s usual image in the media.

lel even included recordings of bugs outdoor at the beginning of the song, adding onto the charm of the track.
