2PM swept numerous Japanese weekly music charts with their sixth Japanese single, "Give Me Love."
On June 5, according to Tower Records weekly charts, 2PM's "Give Me Love" came in first place, followed by Arashi and AKB48. On OriCon, 2PM trailed Arashi at the second spot, while AKB48 placed third.
Also, 2PM's new album Grown came in at fourth on Tower Record's weekly album rankings while placing second on HMV daily charts for all-Asian album rankings.
"Give Me Love" is a charismatic dance song that has its strengths on controlled masculinity. It was selected as the main theme song for a popular Japanese drama 'Take Five,' receiving a big boost in familiarity.
About the recent success of their new album, 2PM commented, "We are very happy to be doing well on daily charts as well as weekly charts.
