The Girls’ Generation member has been going out with the 2pm eye candy for four months
Following the trend of Korean stars who have gone public with their relationship in the last few months, such as Lee Seung Gi and SNSD’s YoonA, fellow Girls’ Generation member Tiffany also jumped onto the bandwagon. According to Korean news outlet Sports Seoul, she has been dating Nichkhun from 2pm for four months.
As both are from two of the most popular Korean idol groups, their romance has sparked much attention from the public and the media.
Both Tiffany and Nichkhun had debuted at around the same time in 2007 and 2008, spent a considerable amount of time in the US and are US citizens. Their similarities enabled them to hit off well and become fast friends.
The pair has also appeared on a number of music shows and programmes together, and just four months ago, they decided to take their friendship one step further and started dating.
Rumours of their relationship have been going around for some time, as both of them have been spotted together at an Asian fusion restaurant on March 11. Though they were careful to keep a distance from each other at that time, their eye contact and exchanges hinted that they were more than friends.
Their management from SM and JYP Entertainment, two of the major entertainment companies in Korea, have confirmed that the pair are indeed dating, and hope that fans can understand and support their relationship.
